I stick with dino oil in the engines and a good bypass filter system in addition to the factory stuff, my oil at 15k mile drain intervals coems out cleaner then other people changing every 7500.

I use synthetic in the tramnny and rears.

LOL :D Yoopr, I bought my truck in MI. Central Ford in Lansing was the dealer. Flew in and then drove home to Long Island. A lot of Heavy haulers around there.

all my years of trucking I've been to Long Island Once.
I THINK it was Farmington? and it was to a cosmetics outfit-Revlon or something.

Yeah-In Michigan on Designated routes you're allowed around 165,000 #s now. That is if You're permitted for it of course.

We have Delvac, Rotella, and Delo at the truckstop where I work. They all have the same API ratings. As far as I'm concerned, they're the same thing. Our Delo pump is slow, and the valve doesn't latch open. Our Delvac pump is the fastest. If I'm in a hurry, I just pump Delvac into the engine. Nobody knows the difference. I also prefer to steal Delvac for my pickup and motorcycle, since it's the fastest.

Rev.Vassago; is glad he doesn't get oil changes at truckstops, and can watch the mechanics actually OPEN THE CASE of Delo, and POUR IT IN, since it costs more.

Way to admit to defrauding the customers. Any chance you'll say at what truckstop you work, so we can avoid it?
