I found this video on youtube that cracks me up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COK8aqXs8h0 I mean, I?d be blown away if I saw flying cars too, but I wouldn?t immediately say that I have to show my Mutti. I?m trying not to be stupid, but, uh, are there actually flying cars? And do they only have them in Hollywood, or what?

Actually, there have been a few cars that were able to fly. Back in the 60s, there was one model that had wings that would fold up to be driven on the hiway. In the late 80s, there was a Ford Pinto that was modified to be able to have wings attached and fly. It was eventually used in one of the James Bond movies, but I don't know of anything else that ever became of it. They do not, however, fly as depicted in those videos.

Yeah, I think I've seen those - the Moller skycar or whatnot. But I heard it was expensive, dangerous, etc. I'm holding out for a car that looks like the ones in the video... though I know that must be impossible, or just incredibly expensive. There's another one of those videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ufUzlrpPZE

Back in the 60s, there was an article in POPULAR MECHANICS that showed a "CAR-BOAT THAT FLIES". My first thought when I saw a pic of it, was: "HOW ON EARTH WILL IT FIT INTO THE GARAGE???" The main part of the wings folded up vertical, and the tips folded horizontally over the cockpit. (driving around town, low tree branches would be a problem) and on the water, the wings folded out and the prop was used for power. No idea what the price tag was on it, but I know that even if I won the lottery, I still could not afford it.

Heh, might as well just have a small plane, huh? I found another one of those videos, I think it's the last. Weird: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFfbk25gjs8
