We used this product on several of our trucks and have been seeing around 11% of diesel savings.
So far it seems this is the least expensive and the most effective US product we have tried. Check them out www.savefuelsavetheearth.com
This is supposed to be a new product. I am curious to see if anyone else have tried it? |

You know, there are so many bogus devices on the market that if someone actually did come along with something that worked, it would be like the boy that cried "WOLF". We've heard the schpiel so many times, no one's listening anymore. From magnets to "baffles" that are supposed to "ATOMIZE" the fuel (while it's still in the line?????? :shock: ) Now, infrared??? Sorry, but the entire hose absorbs engine heat. The entire hose has infrared in it. I'd say this one goes down the tubes along with the rest. You know, if I had one each of every device on my truck, I would not save one molecule of fuel. My truck would be overloaded.... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
I'll bet I can save a little fuel by adding a little naptha to the fuel, though. Well, maybe not. It doesn't have any more stored energy than gasoline. Maybe a little NITROGLYCERIN...... :shock: |

And, just to show you I did go to the site and check it out, I also did a search on the "inventor". Here's what I came up with...no results for Dr. Albert C. Wey.
In the first place, if the device were to actually put infrared into the inside of the line, it would work far better to transmit the infrared energy (heat) into the fuel if it were attached to the metallic part of the line, NOT the "non-metallic" part that is actually an INSULATOR. And, if the "inventor" were actually involved with magnetic research for the last 25 years as the article claims, he would be listed right along with "Howard R. Johnson" of Blacksburg, VA. Instead, "NO RESULTS FOUND". So, I don't believe one word of it. Go peddle your "device" to the blondes of the country. |

Windwalker, I was just like you... skeptical... when someone first mentioned it to me. But at that time the fuel costs are also killing me (it still does), so what the hell, I ordered several under their 90 day warranty.
At least it worked for me and I am happy to see my investment got paid back quickly.
No one has to believe in this product, I was one of the non-believers. All what I have learned is... don't make early judgments. You will never know what you will get if you don't even try.
I am still curious who else have used this product and what are their results? |

Okay. You want a device to save you fuel? How about 60 mph of desiel fuel? Would that peak your interest? How? Simple.
Install a pressure regulator into the intake plumbing of the engine. Between the turbo and the "air-to-air". The pressure regulator must be variable according to the position of an accellorator in the cab. Instead of using the normal "gas peddle", you use the one that controlls the regulator. What does it regulate? HYDROGEN You inject an amount of hydrogen into the intake according to how much power you need. And that regulator is fed from a tank of liquid hydrogen mounted to the frame. Result... About 60 mpg of desiel. And, hydrogen has more energy stored in it than propane, natural gas, gasoline, or desiel. And, the system DOES work. It is currently being used with CNG in California. |

Thanks for the tip. $99.99 - What a hoot! I thoroughly enjoyed researching the patent information on this device.
According to the patent, the inventor is Jun Zhi Zhang from Taichung City, Taiwan.
The wording of the patent summary is classic.
Quote: "Therefore, the molecules of liquid fuel can be well minced so that the liquid fuel can be combusted completely in order to save the liquid fuel and reduce the deposition of carbon. Furthermore, the efficiency in generating energy through the combustion of the liquid fuel is increased, and the exhaust is cleansed. Hence, the economy is increased. "
Do you like your fuel well minced? Mmmm, mmmm, good. I guess they don't have their translating service running at 100%. |

Interesting... what's the cost for installation and the cost to operate using the pressure regulator? I don't want anyone to change anything on my truck though before I can actually see it works... although the 60mpg is really attractive.
Are there any other trucks in this forum using the pressure regulator? |

| i don't know the relationship between Dr. Wey and Jun Zhi Zhang. i am also not that technical to understand their patent claims. to be honest, i'm not even interested in knowing those claims. When i bought the products, i didn't even think about why it works or how it works, i simply bought them because i couldn't afford my fuel at the time and someone happened to suggest the product. |

all what i did was simply shared something worked for me and trying to see if others had the similar experience with this product...
believe me or not, it's your decision. I swear i would never share anything i believe is good in this forum anymore. or, maybe, i should start attacking anyone whoever mention anything (like a pressure regulator that uses hydrogen, like windwalker, now you let me to think, maybe this pressure regulator guy actually works for an auto parts company or CNG, especially he sounds more like a PHD salesman, always talk about something my simple brain wouldn't understand. besides, the 60mpg is too good to be true, now i'm getting skeptical, like everybody else. i'm glad i'm finally part of this forum now.)

2) The same product is sold as the "Hercules Jr." by Aldi Far-IR Products, Inc. though Aldi Far-IR products claims you need 8 or so of these things for my 14.0L Detroit. Savefuelssavetheearth claims 6.
3) These highly technical devices are attatched to your fuel line via cable ties.
4) Dr. Albert C. Wey has 5 patents listed with the US Patent Office. I particularly like his #6,363,285 "Therapeutic sleeping aid device" (IR rays make you feel better, apparently), and the #6,293,963 "Water energizing device for shower bath" (IR rays aparently modify the water such that your hair and skin are improved, you are less stressed and fatigued, and your metabolism improves!).
5) The "Hercules Jr." claims an increse of fuel economy from 16.98 to, get this, 31.52 miles per gallon on a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis.
6) AutoResearch Labs, Inc. is a real place, and has done noted work with many institutions.
7) These IR devices apparently crack hydrocarbon dipole bonding as the fuel passes through. I guess major refineries have missed this possibility, as they still use distillation towers. Must be a Big Oil conspiracy.

FleetKing, you are not alone. I used this product some time ago and liked it. Very simple to install and seems effective. It was also a referral from a friend of mine.
Below are what I learned:
- savefuelsavetheearth.com is the same as royaltydistributors.com
- Aldi Far-IR Products, Inc. is Dr. Wey's factory. The factory doesn't sell products.
