i said not likely.......meaning there is a slight possibility.
i only saw Priority Trasportation as being the only one on that list that said 1 yr ago......give them a call. |

| Most carrier's seem to require a 3-5 year time frame since the DWI. I would just start calling carrier's. As long as it wasn't in a commercial vehicle, you should be able to find a job after another couple of years, anyway. If you were in a truck, you will find it next to impossible to find a carrier. |

ok i must have read your first post incorrectly, i thought it said your DWI was about a yr ago.....anyhow you may have a better chance being it has been 3 yrs. You have a current CDL? |

If you want to be a trucker, put that ONE DWI at least 3-5 years behind you. And DON'T get any more!!!!
I put off being a trucker for some 20 years because I believed the ads that said "squeaky clean" driving record.
Found out it wasn't necessarily true. CALL the carriers. Do NOT fill out any applications until you've talked to enough of them to know what they want to HEAR!
Best of Luck.... but stay CLEAN! |

| My wife got a DUI last Oct. We checked into it and the company I'm leased onto will allow her to go back to driving with me after 1 year. However, your CDL is not valid until ONE YEAR AFTER YOUR CONVICTION. So, she has to wait till January. One year after she was in court for it. The only reason they will allow her back then is because she is my co-driver. She will not be in the truck alone. |
