I guess I should do one of those cliched introduction posts that say something to the effect of "Hi, I'm Nicole, I work for Swift, and I'm an internetaholic." -Waves` So there's my addiction, well, that and role playing games (specifically Dungeons & Dragons and Vampire: the Masquerade). So how is everybody? Other things about me of note, hrm...

I'm 24, brown eyes, brown hair in a buzz cut, I'm wanting to become an o/o, and a mentor for Swift some day (for female students only!), what else... I stand about 5'2", weigh too much (working on that though!), am trying real hard to become completely vegetarian (giving up meat is not easy!), and aside from that, I guess the only thing that stands out about me is that I'm Pagan.

golfhobo,

Thanks, maybe I'll see ya out on the road some time. Personally, I hate my name, it's too common. I'm thinking of changing it legally to something more eccentric.

Hey Nicole! Welcome to the boards, how long have you been driving? Thats awsome you have goals in trucking, but the O/O thing scares me ( If you are talking about O/O for Swift). Buzz cuts re hottt, thats why I sport one 8)

BanditsCousin,

Hi there, thankyou for the warm welcome! Well, I'm as green as they come, I haven't responded for so long in fact because I've been out on the road with my mentor for the last 2 weeks. He and I are parting ways, and I'll be getting a new mentor Monday in Lancaster (my home terminal). I'm thinking of sporting a cut like Leeland (Dog the Bounty Hunter's son) has. It looks real sexy to me. Heh, anyhow, I'm not sure on that yet, ever since I started, I've picked up the bad habit of always wearing a baseball cap (pridefully sporting the company logo, mostly because the cap itself looks cool. Here's a link to it (It's the one on the bottom.)):

As to my O/O goals, I've absolutely fallen in love with the Peterbilt 387, and Swift doesn't offer Petes, so I'll be hunting down a company that will let me get one. The way I hear, Swift is a great starter company, and it's a 2 edged sword. You use them to get minimal experiance, they use you for cheap labor. I may not get to respond for weeks at a time, but I always check my posts when I come home, so don't think I've forgotton you.

Welcome. And, don't worry about your looks. There are as many types of drivers out here as there are trucks on the road. You simply make one more. Best of luck to you.

Welcome to the boards....
Perhaps you give a little too much information about yourself?
Just a thought... no offence intended
