I have actually never drove a truck for anyone as I am just into my 2nd week of driving school but my instructor drove for them for 3 years. I could ask her questions if you would like and post the answers for you here.

My opinion might not count for you because im a recruiter over here at Jb....but on the other hand Im not the person who recruited you so Im not making money by you coming over here.

As a recruiter I judge jobs by what the drivers I hire tell me about the job. I have put quite a few drivers on that run. From what they tell me they are pretty happy with it. A dedicated job like that will have pretty consistant miles weekly, probably a little less than OTR miles, but consistant. Plus its almost all drop and hook. I think you will like it. Great pay per mile, almost all drop and hook, and consistant miles.....what more do you need?

Now....since im not your recruiter and I make nothing by you coming over here....find me another driver to do that run and we will both make some money...lol

Jake just make sure you specify correctly when you will be available for your next load and you will keep moving. My dispatcher always had me preassigned and moving. talk with your dispatcher and get an understanding of what both expects of each other and you will be ahead of the game

Great advice, Classicxl......I tell all my recruits to do just that. You would be amazed how many drivers dont do that then complain about the miles they arent getting. Utilizing your ETA (Estimated Time of Availibility) is one of the best things you can do to keep moving and get miles.

So man, when are you coming back over here? I have that Wal-mart Grocery open up in NY right now. Probably the best dedicated run we have.

But out of all the companies i have called jb has offered the best package and the best hometime. The hometime isn't what i really wanted but they asured me that i can get what i want but i have to wait till something open's up. Hey sheepdancer tell me this. They said 14 out 3 home will i have to ask for that or will they away's route me to the house when its time?

yes, this will always be 14 and 3. Now keep in mind that in truck driving nothing is exact. You never know when you could get stuck in traffic or something. Sometimes in this industry things happen and 14 could really end up being 15.

Why is that a good thing that you are running east of I-35 ? You will probably be running east of I-81 most of the time which isn't a good thing .

You're posting again in a thread about a company that you don't work for or even like?

Are you desperate for attention? :P
