They are good enough to beat any SEC team. I just don't think their rankings would be as good in the SEC.

I don't see Wake doing much in the BCS. They don't play anyone the rest of the year that would help their ranking. The loss to Clemson will hurt and they still have to win the ACC Title game to have any shot at a BCS Bowl bid. They will get a bowl bid, could be the Peach, which is better than the #2 ACC team gets, the Gator Bowl. More exposure with the Peach for some reason even though the Gator pays more and is on New Year's Day.

If Louisville wins out(still have to face a much improved Rutgers and WVU) they will get a BCS Bowl bid but would still need some help from the teams they have already beat and teams above them in the rankings. They need Miami to get back in the Top 25 and get inside the Top 10 before season's end for it to count as a quality win.

I would have said Florida would give OSU and Michigan a good fight until Saturday night. Auburn shut down their spread offense pretty dang well. LSU is getting better each week and would prolly matchup best with Michigan. Nobody has anything for OSU out of the SEC or any other conference for that matter. Only Michigan has a shot against them and that is because it's a rivalry game.

I'll say this, the SEC is the best. If OSU or Michigan were in there, one of them would go down. Maybe not both, but one of them would. They are good, but you have to be SPOTLESS to run the table in the SEC. I just dont see it.

That and the Big 10 is weak this year. Other than Ohio State and Michigan, there are no real powerhouses...just a handful of decent teams, nothing great. Iowa is an also ran, particularly after their loss to Indiana this weekend and they will lose to Michigan this weekend. No one else really stands out all that much.

The SEC is tough. The Big 12 is a monster, too. I don't think Ohio State has anyone that is their equal this year, so I think they're a shoo-in. I also don't think USC is anywhere as good as people are making them out to be. They are ripe for an upset and I see it happening sooner that later. It would not surprise me in the least to see Louisville make it. Then again, should Louisville and others run the table and we have a have a handful of undefeated teams again, we'll once more be treated to why the current BCS sucks toad droppings.

Can you say playoff system? Without it, the "champion" is nothing more then a debated monicker. If Division 1-AA can do it, so can the big boys. But until some of these decrepit old twits that sit on the committee finally kick off and become fertilizer, we'll still hear the same old argument from them as they reach for their Geritol. "It werks, I tell ya! It werked for my granpappy so it werks for us!"

Buttheads.

:D Seems like forever, Yoop. The time for a playoff system is NOW and I can't see why the gods of college football can't realize that! :withstupid:

Yeah,Im with ya Dynamite. I love watching the SEC. It amazes me how fast paced those SEC games can be. They are tough. The Big 12 is a monster, but its also another reason for the schools to have bragging rights. I hate the freakin Longhorns. I dont care too much for those stinkin Aggies, either. I like Oklahoma,Baylor, and Texas Tech. My grandad loved OU,and my uncle(dad's brother)went to Baylor, therefore, dad loves Baylor. A couple of my friends that I grew up with played for Tech,so,I guess that is how I like those schools. Im weird like that. Im so sick of hearing about those freakin Longhorns. A friend of mine loves them, and all he talks about,is that they are 5th ranked, and they are going to be a repeat this year. He also mentioned about them walking all over Baylor Saturday night. If he wasnt my friend,he would have been laying flat on the floor when he said that. :P Poor Baylor. They cant get a break. Well,I told him that I would be 5th ranked too,if I were playing Division 1-AA schools. I believe that they rank the schools according to their conference, and their schedule. Well, the Big 12 probably does help Texas being highly ranked, but, most of the Texas Division 1-AA schools that they play arent much bigger than the Dallas high schools. What a crock of poop.

Im with yall on the playoffs. Yeah,if the small schools can do that, why not the big ones. Midwestern State, which is a Division 1-AA school here in Wichita Falls usually makes the playoffs every year. In fact,Dominique Rhodes went to Midwestern State. It is fun to watch. In fact, here is a fact story about MSU. They are the same colors as Florida State. Midwestern State used to be called the Indians. Apparently, someone got offended about the mascot, and so now, they are called the Mustangs. When they were the Indians, they had the same uniforms as Florida State. The same color jerseys, same color pants, even the helmet, and the arrow logo. I used to get them mixed up.

Kid!!! That pic is awesome! 8) My mom is a Razorback. She would love that. She has a t-shirt that she got years ago, that says,"Im for Arkansas, and anyone who plays Texas." I guess she is the reason why I have never liked the Horns. The Razorbacks are doing pretty good fighting off the SEC. Too bad, they arent ranked in the top 10,with the other teams that have one loss. I guess its because they dont play Division 1-AA schools, like someone else I could think of. I wont say their name, but their colors are White, and Burnt Orange.
