While some of what they post is true, look at the dates on them?
from 2003 to 2004? Some things have changed with the companys, and some are worse, and there are some companys missing off that list?
Looks like the party(s) that admin that site need to update it more often? |

| Also lets take things in stride. It is a proven fact that when someone is unhappy with something they will tell 10 people or be 10x's more likely to let their feelings be known than if they are satisfied with their experience. |

Yeah, I dont take these ripoff complaint sites very seriously. Most of them if you read them, sound like disgruntled EX employees. This is what happens when you listen and believe a recruiter.
If this was an investigation into the practices of certain companies, I would be more interested in reading the stories. As it stands, its just pissed off people posting on a complaint board. |

| every company has its good and bad not matter what business they are in. talk to drivers who actually drive for the company. Of course you will hear good and bad things from them also but you have to make up your own mind |

| If you want to get a good picture of a company, talk to current drivers. Much of a driver's experience, whether positive or negative, depends a lot on attitude and communication. If you have a good attitude and communicate with your company, you are more likely to have a positive experience. 8) |

You can get some knowledge browsing the postings here on CAD and some of the other drivers sites, but you really need to talk to 8-10 drivers in person to get a good representative sample. The people who post on here are only one segment of the driving world. Plan on spending a day at the truck stop with a notepad asking questions.
Read "interviewing the interviewer" on OOIDA to get an idea of the questions you should be asking.
I spent almost a year researching the industry and companies until I found my gig with Con-Way.
As a rule of thumb if the company advertises heavily the are not a good place to work. |
