I have a new CDL and diploma from an approved school. Got 96 on my CDL driving test. No criminal record. No tickets or accidents. Perfect credit report.
They would not give me a reason.
Any ideas why I would be turned down?
All other companies I applied to approved me.

TMC wants you to be 23 years old. It could be that, work history, of a number of other things. If they won't tell you why, don't lose sleep over it. There are other companies out there, and you can always apply to them after you have some experience if you really want to drive for them.

| send a pm to TMC. he is a recruiter and is on here pretty frequently. he can tell you what it up. sometimes stuff gets shuffled. if you read some older posts you will see that this has happened in the past. |

That was going to be my next suggestion. If you live outside their lanes then they can't get you home when you want or need to be. If you want to send me a message I can give you some sites with companies hiring areas so you can get an idea of who is hiring in your area.
Good luck,

My BP is 112/72, I am 5'10" tall and weigh 165 lbs and in very good shape. I live NW of Little Rock, Ar. on a farm and dig up 100 lb rocks and put them in my tractor loader all the time. Also, been a runner for many years. Don't smoke or drink or drug.
I think it is odd to turn a person down and not say why. Maybe calling this odd is being kind......:-) |

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China. Nothing is what. Just because some one is a big person doesn't mean that they can't and won't do the job. |

Most times they wont tell you the reason. Its a legal issue.
They are covering their backsides by not releasing the info.
Since your not a big person I cant figure it out. TMC is pretty prejudice with whom they hire. Super doubtful that unless its a mistake they will ever tell you the reason. |

| well i am a big guy and i can tell you this at 270 pounds i can run circles around most other guys i work with and they are In a lot better shape than i am as far as body goes. it don't matter what your size is, its your ability to do the job. and anyone who thinks different is wrong. size doesn't matter in any thing, what matters is the ability and the will to do such a job. and if you don't believe me let me take you through a day in my shoes. |

| Have you checked out Maverick yet? TMC will run you in the ground and their safety record stinks. safersys.org,click on company snapshot and check em out compared to other companies, the ratings tell the story. |
