| USMC is right plus Maverick is in Little Rock. You may have to be on their waiting list, but I think the fact they have a list is reason enough to try |

What was the reason they DID give for turning you down if everything is fine, there shouldn't be any. If you'd like my help PM me and let me know. |

USMC is not even a driver. How can he be "right" about anything truck-driver related??? Not knocking Maverick (they are a good company) but just because a company has a waiting list could also mean they have no (can't afford any) instructors or trucks, or...... aren't hiring because their freight is slow, or...... they tell EVERYONE that. None of these is true for Maverick (I don't think) But remember just because there's a list, doesn't mean you'd want to work there! |

TMC (Matt):
I went thru about 2/3rds of boot camp last Oct. I believe I visited with you while up in Des Moines. Anyway can you PM me about my status with TMC (I left for a family emergency) Wed. 2nd week. I think you'll find I made good grades. I have been out of a truck since then, and would not mind going back to school for some refresher training if it is in the cards... |

| Matt's going to be away for a while. Your best bet would be to call recruiting, ask for Rebecca and she'll give you any info you need. |

Met a TMC recruiter yesterday here in Phoenix at the cdl school I am attending. I asked him if someone my age (56) has a chance on being hired. He said the bossman actually prefers a little gray. Maybe it's "reverse" age discrimination. This recruiter is 62. Says the owner is 77 and still climbs into the trucks to check you out. Hands on. Good for him. |

| I might add I don't approve of discrimination in any form. I think you should be considered based solely on your qualifications and ability and of course your background history. DUI, criminal, accidents and such. I really don't know what credit history has to do with it but it is a factor in some areas. Peace to all. |
