| I hope that this is the right place to put this if not I apologise. Summitt is having its driver appreciate this coming week. Monday thru Thursday is open to anyone holding a Class A CDL. There will be food and music and several different health people to talk to. I went last year and had a pretty good time. For anyone interested they are located off of I65 In Clarksville IN. The easiest way to get there is get off of exit 4, going south turn left going north turn right at the end of the ramp. Get into the left lane and follow the road. It curves to the left and goes past Thorntons and White Castle. Go under the overpass and they are about 1/2 mile up on the left right before the traffic light. There is a Summitt sign and a Transport America sign out front. Go in the entrance and around the corner to the left and give them a shout on channel 7 and tell them what you are there for and they will let you in and direct you where you can park. It will be a good time to meet some of the drivers and higher ups and talk to them and get a feel for things and if nothing else you get a good meal and maybe make some new friends. I will hopefully be there Monday if we don't get delayed in TX tomorrow :D I hope to see some of you there :D |

Not yet, right now I am just a passenger but thinking of upgrading my B to an A and driving team with my boyfriend. He has been with them about 1 1/2 yrs now. They have made some big changes in the company the last few months and I don't doubt that there will be more. Some things have improved and some haven't but you are going to have things that you don't like in any company the trick is finding one that you can deal with. So far this one seems ok. They do have their problems but like I said things are getting better. Hey, at least they are making an effort that's better than some of them out there. :D
