my bro in law moves some pretty heavy machinery local for me, not really cool unless your into huge equipment but it is pretty valuable, some pieces upwards of 15 million.
and mostly oil field stuff for me otr although it is pretty pricey, a generator or an engine ever now and then valued at a couple million. |

| There have been several things, but the one that comes to mind is the scoreboard at Sanford University in California. There were five us. The load had to be unloaded a certain way and the last guy who got there was the first one they needed to unload. We got a really great lunch out of the deal and detention time for the wait from the manufacturer's rep. :D |

Involved in a relocation of a Federal Reserve Depository. Eight 18 wheelers, 6 ten wheelers. Three guards per vehicle, all armed. Treasury Officers escorted each truck out of, to, and into the new site. I do not know of the exact dollar amount but I would guess many millions.
We started the relocation at midnight and was completed at 5:30 AM.

Hooked a pre-loaded, sealed trailer. BOL just said "10 Paper Rolls".
Didn't know until end of trip that it was un-cut scratch-off lottery tickets.
Don't remember the exact numbers, but I think it amounted to approx 5 feet wide by 31 thousand feet long. |

1. Pre-cast overhead walkway that now spans a six-lane hiway.
2. Section of tank that was 28 feet in diameter. Too wide for the railings on bridges on the interstates.
3. Railroad crossings. (I kid you not)
4. Four missile guidance systems that were consigned to a company in Chicago, but delivered to White Sands, NM. (Dispatch had a re-load for me out of Chicago.)
5. One LARGE manila envelope (shipping papers) that contained the payroll for a military base.... Trailer was empty  which I found out later.
6. 33 crates of "steel forgings" that turned out to be 105-MM WARHEADS.
7. Load of U S Navy Torpedoes for disposal... They loaded the wrong ones on... very, VERY EXCITING when you've taken them 1,000 miles before anyone notices the mistake. |

Why not? I've hauled "ROCKS" to Colorado and California. Seems that they don't have enough of them either. |
