So far, Da Kine Bud has "high"jacked" just about every thread he's posted on, and contributed nothing of any real value to any of the threads or the forums. Certainly, he has offered nothing in the way of help to new drivers or "Plan2B" drivers.
Is there anything that can be done here??
As far as not feeding the troll, I agree; but I also maintain that the Troll needs to learn to contain himself, or else he needs to be contained by the moderators.
Mods?? Can you help us out here?? |

| from what I've seen those that might be complaining about DA Kine's input on a few threads ...really have no reason to , as this persons comments have yet to be derogatory , and if you don't want him to take over a thread ..DO NOT reply to his posts in those threads if you feel they are un-related to the general topic of the thread...As it is your reply to to posts that keep it rolling ....and when you think about it if DA kine replies to a thread with un-related material , and you reply then you are littering the thread with un-related material just the same , so you to are hi-jacking the thread with un-related posts as well.... |

| What makes this forum different than truck.net is the interesting conversations and interactions. We have had trolls but Da kine has hijacked some very interesting threads with his narcistic "Me" attitude. I have sent a PM to the moderators asking for at least a warning shot across the bow .. |

It has long been understood that on any electronic bulletin board there is a segment that tacitly imply ownership, who demonstrably display stereotypical behavior of the classic internet shut-in you might have read at onetime in a newspaper or magazine.
Whom for whatever nondescript rationale (even to themselves) when they, the attacker, do feel threaten or are scared in this surreal self-perceived paranoia of theirs, and for sanctimonious reasons, begin a series of ill mannered campaigns to run off the user. These infamous characteristics always wield slander as the tactic of choice since the grievance to be had is nonexistent with them. Therein you witness a veil attempt to cover their own derelictions of motive, by wildly pontificating in some sort of hope that ground can be made because of it (it can only be guessed).
This is odd behavior, indeed strange behavior, which is all too rampant on the internet, and leaves more questions than not about people?s station and general health.
This board administrators and the other 99.9% of users, bring with them valuable information about trucking industry from the people who matter the most ? the rank-and-file. It is a shame that the 'worst of the worst' of the internet?s troubled reputation with rogue user?s and their odd territorial blunders, so chooses to disparage without merit or use proper decorum on this high esteemed forum. It is disrespectful of them to do so but sadly is thier sole principal, a poor behavior, always seen with empty remote users.
This board?s subject is about trucking in general and not a strange internet stalking of a new member. Save that for 20/20-Dateline-Primetime?

If someone quotes me, I will respond, common courtesy?why not you know? I have no idea what others here fear or are so scared of. Who am I that this is so? LOL I just think this is a case of all the bad stories you read about on the internet.
And like to add: the old rule on boards as such is to comment on the comments said ? not attack the user.

I was born and raised on Kauai, and in pidgin da kine means local. Like; hey bra he?sa da kine. Means; whoa watch out he is a local most likely to stomp on some haoles (mainland tourists).

And it just appears to me as if the people replying to this thread in support of a proposed ban ..are really just thriving on negativity , and it is these kinds of replies that have HI-jacked threads , as from what i've seen when one user posts a reply that doesn't support the views of the majority the majority feel the need to slam that poster with negative comments this gets the reply of the poster , and then the majority repeats their cycle of negative feedback ..so the threads in reality are hi-jacked by the majority .....
So I have yet to see any thing posted by DA KINE that is derogatory towards any of the board members that would incite a ban....I have seen many negative opinions expressed towards DA KINE as a result of a few posts that the majority did not agree with , but i don't see these people proposing to ban themselves :lol: |
