I pay cash 50% of the time too, I love the discount, especially when it adds up to the neighborhood of $15 sometimes.
I also paid cash for fuel, thats what started this thread 8)
So, has anyone ever bought a tv, inverter, or items from another driver before? That was my aim of this thread. |

I vote for a lock on this, better yet, delete it. Too many people here with personal vendettas.
NEVER call someone a thief who your wife calls to harass! Its true mods, Sanchez's wife in the past has called to yell at me, but I don't speak HILLBILLY.
LOCK THIS and THROW AWAY THE KEY :x |

Everyone pick a charity and I'll donate $50 to makup for my business transaction. I think thats a great idea- AIDS, breast cancer, or whatever, and I will write a check to that charity...honest.
I'm really not a bad guy, I just wish this would've turned out to be posts about other drivers finding good deals, not a judgement of my character.
If this doesn't help clean my slate, I dunno what will  |

And, for your charity.... Let's make it a "HOME FOR UN-WED MOTHERS". Maybe they'll quit harrassing you, claiming to be Sanchez's wife......       |

Quote: If I buy a CB and sell it at 1/3 MSRP for a quick sale if I needed cash, stealing would be irrelevant.
I was going to wait till I read the whole thing but then you said it.
Yes if nothing happens it may be irrelevant .
Theft by recieving has to be proved. One of the ways the case is built is whether you gave a fair price for it . If you gave 10 bucks for high dollar cb , then you could be charged with theft by recieving if it was stolen. Of course if it wasnt stolen you would never hear anything about it . A rule of thumb is to stay clear of such deals because of legal ethics if not moral.
This question deals with both legal and moral because you read the price of the fuel at the island. This wasnt a question of knowing value where a cb might be as it might be faulty. You stated your self you would not accept fuel from another truck so you didnt question the fuel value from the pump.
