my 2 cents. CRE seems to be the company i hear the most bad about. seen plenty of people happy with swift. but the only positive i have heard about england is from you...who have no driving experience. doesn't say a whole lot about them.
Also if you do fail it WILL be them. now if you have 5 years driving experience and know how to run a business i would say it's your fault...but i ask...how much do you think CR ENgland spends on marketing each year? my guess it's not the lowest thing on their budget. The can market it to appear as if it is everything and more. they may make it look like there is no more thought that needs to go into it. they dot the Is and cross the Ts.
I don't care how smart you are...you give me the budget and some flashy visual aids and i can sell YOU a microwave for 250,000 that doubles as a time machine and was built by Jesus Christ himself. |

Or was the "company de jour" Prime???
Seems to me everyone congratulated him on the choice that was finally made!
Thanks Freebird..................thought I was having "Acid" flashbacks (I wish)
FT..................I wish you the best on whatever company you choose..............sorry the other company didn't work out............but, I honestly believe you are in the wrong profession..........I don't know your education level..........but, you might want to consider a career in "Public Relations"................you have an ability to take the negative and turn it around into a temporary positive...........that my friend, is what "Public Relations" is all about..............
I personally think (know) you are making a huge mistake with CR England..........but, it's not my place to tell you, what you already know deep down in your heart.............all these people CAN'T be wrong or have a conspiracy to bash England......................I do admire your steadfastness and conviction, once you have your mind set on something.............that is a gift, but don't forget........"It can work against you sometimes"............you could be telling yourself what, you want to hear"....
Whichever way you go, good luck to you..............Josh |

Ya know some of us have to learn the hard way. I just don't like the idea every student is now a lease operator .... CRE doesn't have company drivers. Hey FT, they are banking on your failure that is what keeps them in business but.....if you think you can beat them at their own game have at it!
Best of luck to you.
Come on guys quit beating him up....that is where he wants to go let him go. |

I also wished that hulcher could of worked out but it didnt so i had to move on. Its just amazing that if you bring up a big company that you want to work for everyone wants to bash on them whether they come out and say it or not.
I'm not saying the england is perfect but what company really is? I could go to big orange but i'm not going to team, and that is what they want me to do but no thanks and i'm not slip seating as they call it. I think that if i go in there and give 100% i will do fine as i have at any job that i have had.

futuretrucker wrote: If these companies are so bad then they wouldnt be here today making millions, but wait thats right they screw over drivers and they love the turn over rate.
No, they make millions BECAUSE they screw their drivers over, so that they can undercut the competition. Economics 101.
136% turnover rate is something that C.R.E. should be proud of, huh? I am sure that entire 136% is just guys who couldn't cut it with this fine, large company.
You're right, FT, and we're all wrong. Now I expect you to go prove it, and show us the results. I, for one, would be proud to eat that crow. |

| I think you're confusing our opinois on CRE as a company in general, and as a o/o job. Althought the opinions may be close in comparison, you'll never see a company driver in the red. |

| To quote P.T. Barnum " A fool and his money is soon parted" That my friends is what a Flease deal does for the driver. I talk to england drivers all the time they drop off at my Con-Way yard and complain how they can't even buy food for the week and have not been home for 14 weeks so they can just stay out of the Red. But hey Don't believe them I guess that If FT wants be in flease deal let him might help him lose wieght too if you can't buy food. |

| :D When I was young and stupid a few years back I flew out to Salt Lake City to take a look at CRE. Listened in on their GREAT AND FABULOUS lease operator program and went for a road test with a screaming maniac. After talking to several other students and some other drivers we got the hell out. Thank God and Southwest Airlines I was gone!! :P |

my 2 cents.
Also if you do fail it WILL be them.
No!! It will be HIS FAULT bro, period!!!... no one Else's; after all, he's an expert wannabe who knows how to be a successful fleece operator!! Besides, CR England WANTS their Fleece Operator Trainees to make money!! Just ask their recruiters!!!!
I don't care how smart you are...you give me the budget and some flashy visual aids and i can sell YOU a microwave for 250,000 that doubles as a time machine and was built by Jesus Christ himself.
WHOOOOOOOAAAA!!!!!! DUUUUUUDE!!!!!!!!!
Now wait just a cotton pickin' minute here!!!!!
Are you trying to tell me that the microwave oven that doubles as a time machine WASN'T invented by Jesus Christ??
I got news for you buddy!! Your wrong!!! I just bought one, and I know that for a fact that it does double as a time machine, and that it WAS invented by Jesus Christ Himself, because that's EXACTLY what I was told by the dude that sold it to me!!! (Half Baked!!) I gave him the money, (he needed cash, but he left me a flashy pamphlet!!) and he also gave me a pouch that holds the ashes of Jerry Garcia!!... and he said he'd be by next month to deliver it to me!! I also talked to two other dudes who were with him, and they said that their machined worked great!!
So, you just don't know what you're talking about!!

Did i ever say i was going there to be a lease operator? NO how ever i did mention that if i wanted to the option is there but i said nothing about me wanting to be one right off tha bat as you make it seem. But you can say whatever you like but at least get some facts straight. Just to see what everyone else thinks look for a poll.
