| XP at home which is my main computer but out here on the road I have a 12" iBook which I really like. I got it a couple years ago to play with a mac since I've never used one before. I really like it but wouldn't want to have a desktop main computer mac... Window's for sure. |

Why no windows 64 edition on the poll? It's new, but people are buying it. Computers are moving up from 32 bit to 64 bit. In fact alot of people had bought 64 bit systems (including me), but use XP (32 bit) and could not take advantage of the 64 bit extentions. As far as windows 95. Time to get out of the dark ages. I have not heard of anyone (friends, family, or anyone I meet online) using it for about 6 years.
I use XP and have very little complaints. I will be moving up to Windows 64 as soon as I can afford it. |

I guess other might mean "Linux"?
I have on my computers,
XP pro
Redhat9 Linux -- server
Fedora Linux -- server & desktop
There are so many more versons of Linux to long to list.
Also, apples 10 is a form of Linux.
I still have copys of Windows 98, 95, 3.1 and all versions of Dos through 6.1. Something to show & tell the grandkids?? If the floppys are still good? |
