Do any schools nearby have a prep class? the school i'm looking at offers a 4hr permit review class about a week or so before they start a CDL class.

I've used http://www.cristcdl.com/otc to pass everything from learners to tank, doubles/triples, & hazmat endorsements. It truly is THE site for cdl tests. BOL

You also might try getting the manual that the your state gives/sells to new drivers going for their class C license. There are probably some general knowledge questions taken from there, since you are supposed to know that stuff already. The other thing is that sometimes the state tests are 20 years behind the times asking about laws that are no longer valid. Also some of answers simply defy common sense. The practice tests are great.

I find it hard to believe they weren't in the book. Of course, if you read it front to back, you'd know it.

Sorry, i don't buy it.

I just took the permit in KY too.

I have to agree that there are questions that are not in the KY CDL manual.

I have the manual on my computer too, and can search for certain phrases that are on the test, but NOT in the manual!

You know according to my state some of those answers are not the best ones, and others are just wrong.

Bah that didn't come out right. Thanks for the links, it's just that some of the answers they claim to be right are actually wrong on my state's permit exam I just took.

I do have one quesiton for the GA Hazmat/Tanker endorsement test.

For some reason my state combines these into one test. The tanker part is easily passed, therefore would it be better or easier to get the seperate tanker endorsement? Does the test that's a combination of the two have less overall hazmat questions or are they just 'seperate' but combined into more questions? I'm just concerned about not passing hazmat first time. I know I could pass tanker and I don't want to hold myself back incase I do not pass hazmat the first time.
