Old turkey now Iran, On mount Arrat exactly where the bible said it rested after the flood.
If you go to Iraq and other Middle Eastern countries you'll see, if you even have a minimal knowledge of geology, that the Entire area is ALL Bedrock. Bedrock is what is what is beneath Oceans and is the Ocean Floor.
On a Side note while in Iraq I visited what was/is Abrahams Birth place. Amazing the Hardships those people must have put up with total NOTHINGNESS around them. |

Ok, WindWalker lets continue.
I stand corrected on the Biblical evedince. Sodom and Gomorrah, that was during the time of Abraham 2090 BC. So thats what A little over 4,000 years.
http://www.bibleplus.org/discoveries/sodomfound.htm
And if it is found, The Ark of Noah, around 4,000 BC. Thats almost 6,000 years. I did have a link on here but it is not working now, it was, but it said it might have expired??????? |

While I don't have any doubt that the ARK is up there, I do not see it in this pic. I remember seeing a much better one years ago, and I don't think it was a hoax. It came from an expedition to the mountain, and was taken from across a gorge. What it showed was in the bottom,at the leading edge of a glacier. It looked like the end of it was exposed, and they did not have ropes long enough to get to there, and since then the glacier has moved. I would expect that blocks of ice would have fallen down from the top of the glacier and hid it from view again. I've been looking for that pic, but have not been able to find it.
And, as far as a wooden vessel being that large... When was the last time you looked at the demensions of the SPRUCE GOOSE that Howard Hughs built and flew? And, the framing is ALL WOOD. It would be easier to make it float on water than to fly in the air.
As to the ARK OF THE COVENANT... It is in Ethiopia. I was in that part of the world while in the NAVY, years ago. It's the only time I have EVER heard of a Muslem ruler ordering a new CHRISTIAN church to be built... Just to "house" the ARK. I've known about it for more than 35 years and have no doubt at all. |

Yea, I knew about the Ark of the Covenant, I've got a link on I think the first page, it is a news story about it. I would like to see that picture of the Ark if you find it. |
