I hate england just as bad as the other folks here, but to dog on their actual cdl training program is totally onesided. Yes the housing is terrible and it smells like horse piss in the rooms. BUT the person who teaches you in the classroom (and the only person who teaches in the classroom) is very knowledgable and helpful.
Would i go thru it again, Yes but only if they clean that place up. |

| I was at the west sacramento dmv last week and there was an england driver attempting an alley dock. He had NO clue how to do it and he failed big time. Makes you wonder about the school. It could be just the student but come on you shouldn't be taking the test unless you are 100% confident you can do everything!!! |

No worse than the Werner lease driver that I watched take 25 minutes to back his Pete into a dock space.
Mind you I was afraid to leave my truck in fear he would knock the hood off mine till he was all backed in and brakes set.
Oh and I was the only one backed in at the time at this large warehouse, my guess is Werner will give a lease truck to anyone. |

Pretty hard to believe this fellow was O/O, had no idea how to handle such a large hood.
My guess would be he had less than three weeks experience, not kidding. |

It's not so much the long wheel base, it was the wheel hoping and gear grinding and jackin when he should have been following.
I don't know how he got certified by Werner. |

| well i guess it all depends where they test out of. Some terminals are harder than the others. must have had one of those trainers that is just in it for the money instead of teaching |

Since we're just guessing at what is happening in the cab.....and sticking with the above scenario.....
Perhaps the trainer is not in it just for the money, and the student driver does nothing but blow his own horn on how great he can drive, and now the trainer -tired of listening to the students stories- is letting the student make a fool of himself in front of his peers!
Remember, I said we are just guessing, not saying that I.....er......a trainer would ever do this!!     |
