Umm guys, the C.R. England school at SLC, ut is top notch. Yeah they force feed the lease progran there way too much but the school itself is great. I am a graduate of theirs but quit during training cause there training corrdinator i had was a total pr**k. still 2000 dollars to live in a military barracks style dormitory was disgusting.

| I saw on another board that some people love to go thru C.R.Englands School in Salt lake city just for that environment.Bunk beds and communal showers with NO Walls or partitions for personal privacy.I had to laugh. Kinda like high school shower rooms. To be on topic though, I was told England cancelled the "CAT PROGRAM"They will keep company drivers after all. |

You can count on it.
They are about as lowlife as a trucking co. can be. In their classified ads here in SA, they tout themselves as CR ENGLAND--"A HIGHLY RESPECTED TRUCKING CO."      |

Highly respected by whom? The mafia? Other truck company execs? White-collar criminals? Congress? |

Nothing against those that drive for England , But Cr England is one cheap company..oh sorry I meant ECONOMICAL , But the problem is they are Economical to a point that should require a swift slap to managements face . I knew about CR's efficacy housing , But I was shocked at what I saw when I talked to a couple trainers for CR at a couple truck stops , as CR doesn't just pair up one student with one trainer on a truck they pack 2-3 students on a truck with a trainer , And to me there just isn't enough room in a truck for 3-4 grown adults no matter how you set it up . I remember the first trainer I talked to , and when his students started stepping out of the truck 1,2,3, I couldn't help , but think of a CLOWN CAR !
I guess if a company can't spend just enough to give someone the basic dignity of a private shower , or not pack guys into a truck like sardine ...Why would they treat a driver well after training ? |
