what concerns me most isn't all the thoughts you have listed
it is the fact that the trucking industry isn't ran by the companies, unions, or DOT regs, it's ran by the insurance industry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| All the crying about the new HOS pales in contrast to a decent LIVABLE wage... Nuff said |

So, you got a promotion, eh? Ferrying the old ladies back and forth to the bingo hall, now? :D
BTW, it's good to have you back, my friend. |

| I think the HOS and PAY are OK, comming from ouside of the industry where $300.00 / week was a good week... :P What shakes my shorts is the DAC. How is it that ANY ONE ORGANIZATION could have so much power over anyone's livelyhood is astonishing. A newbie company could get mad at you for leaving if you were a good driver and falsify a statement... or fabricate a policy to your detriment. And you nearly have to hire legal council to remove the statement, costing you more money added to the lost reputation after the company slandered your good name. I think something needs to be done about the power of this entity called the USIS. Good luck to us all in the future. |

| You are right about DAC, you are wrong about pay though. :P |

| If you are running your butt off for the pay, safety probably just went out the window. |

| All starts with safety. Less incidents could mean lower insurance rates, which would free up money for pay, also reducing some DAC entries, and so on and so forth |
