for4roses. I stay on channel 19 on one radio and have several other radios that moniter different channels. I live just off of hwy.259 south pretty busy hwy lot of flatbed traffic.

I retired from the Fire Service & one of my favorite jobs was a Tillerman on a 100' Aerial Ladder Truck. Have driven both ends but the rear was quite a challange. I am new to the industry and awaiting pre-hires for Maverick/Schneider National..

My wife and i have been discussing it for a few days we go to school Oct 2 with CFI and have decided on our handles after much deliberation Taz and Tweety. Taz stuck because my wifes little brother couldnt say chas which is my real world nickname and always called me taz so it stuck and tweety goes well with it lol. Husband wife teams need handles that go well together i think.

In the old days we had 2 words for the Interstate and US hwy systems the Superslab and the boulevard. I learned to drive with my grandfather back in the middle 70s, had a lead foot then as I do now. I remember him waking up while I was driving to fast and he would always smack me on the back of the head and ask me " you think your some kind outlaw" so he gave me the handle Outlaw. I always hated the small 2 lane hwys so I added the Superslab to the handle, Superslab Outlaw. You see it here as ssoutlaw. A handle should always be given to you, you cant change it like you change your underwear...lol Same handle for over 30 yrs.
