Several years ago, when I decided to get into trucking, the two "hottest" career fields were Trucking and Health Occupations!

Who KNEW they didn't used diesel in the Health field??

Well, from what I've been reading, you're wrong. Atrophic Vaginitis is NOT the woman's version of "blue balls". It's something else entirely.

I meant the story about having to have sex or they will die! It's an OLD ruse used on young girls for centuries.

    vasocongestion.
Women can also experience discomfort due to unrelieved vasocongestion as their pelvic area also become engorged with blood during sexual arousal. They can experience pelvic heaviness and aching if they do not reach orgasm. The general term pelvic congestion refers to such pain as it occurs in either sex.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_balls
And, from what I find, there can be a risk of gangrene in both cases. And, in severe cases of atrophic vaginitis as well. That WOULD explain why the woman I used to know had to have hers surgically removed.

Also, from what I've been reading, estrogen is NOT a viable treatment (oral, injection, topical creme, or IUD) for a woman that is at high risk to cancer.

Rebel, I almost forgot. Golfhobo wouldn't be able to satisfy the prescribed "intercourse a day" regimen, as he hobos around in his truck most of the time, and is rarely around enough to lavish the proper attention that a lady both needs and richly deserves.

These needs are best fulfilled by a local driver. Home every day. Off 2-3 days a week. Women simply are not satisfied with the 'home occasionally,' "I'm worn out" routine of the OTR driver. The local driver is always there to be consistently amorous and attentive to a lady.

Us locals pick up (or take over) when the Golfhobos of the world are either, too tired, out hoboing around, or simply not around enough for the romance that a lady so deservedly desires.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Well... Let's see... I don't have all the answers... I simply have not met anyone that has all the questions...

I'm not the only driver that is quite capable of taking a woman on the road with me. Not only is she able to receive the "attention" you refer to, during a 10 hour break each and every day, but she would also be able to see so much of this beautiful country, and get pictures for her own scrap-book, without having to pay bus fare, plane fare, and the tour guide. It's not the origin or the destination, but the distance in between, and the scenery it contains that is worth looking at, and that is something the local driver can not offer.

    Destroy the farms...
and grass will grow in the streets of the cities.

Destroy the economy of the blue-collar worker...
and grass will grow in the executive offices.

    The bill has come due.

That MAY be true, if ALL you want is the SAME boring bird every night! But, to some that is not enough.

ONE "exotic" bird, met while hiking the mountains of Colorado, and known for only ONE night or two, can replace countless nights with the same nagging, inattentive, degrading woman who, once trapping you into marriage feels it's okay to "let herself go" and no longer wears makeup, nor dresses nicely, nor goes to the lou to fart!

Familiarity breeds contempt. [and fat azzes!]

Some men need to be coddled and stroked every day of their lives, and are willing to put up with all the baggage FOR it! They USUALLY have an ego problem, and an oedipus complex that requires their mates to ALSO "mother" them.

If Columbus, Lewis and Clark, Marco Polo, Alexander the Great, and many OTHER "adventurers" were of this "wussy" ilk, the World would be a much smaller place..... and WAY overcrowded!

There is a reason that all the world knows the names of Sakajaweah(sp), Molly Brown, Calamity Jane and Marylin Monroe...... but, scarce FEW know the name of your wife! (no offense intended!)

Wives are for men who cannot trust the odds of ecstatic circumstance! And whose "drives" cannot allow for the necessary "delay." They are SOMETIMES only a convenient end to an otherwise BORING day!

There's a good reason they don't waste "sleeper cabs" on those who would never USE them. And a reason for the 100 mile radius for those who would not DARE to venture BEYOND them!

Your type has its place as surely as did the "shopkeeper" of the Old West. But, the World belongs to the TEAMSTERS, Coachmen, and Pony Express Riders!

For SOME of us, the "adventure" of LIFE lies in the exploration of it! And "SEX" is secondary! A Cowboy sleeps peacefully under open skies beside blazing fires! And REALLY isn't concerned with how much he is paid for the PLEASURE! (or the SMELL of his horse!)

Must I point out WHICH has been the more instrumental in the FOUNDING and expansion of this great country?

So.... sleep soundly and comfortably in your feathered bed tonight. SECURE in the civilization WE have provided you. Thank the LAWMAN who protects you from a world you cannot understand and dare not encounter..... and the MEN who make it possible!

But, keep your ego checked inside your panty-waisted suits, and PRAY your women don't run off with the first REAL man that blows through your little insignificant town!

I'm not sure you could "manage" life on your OWN!

While I have MANY problems, that really isn't one of them, so your um... 'services' are not required. But thanks for playin'.

....... and Belpre..... like many other tanker yankers I've seen lately, who can't keep their minds on their jobs...... goes down in FLAMES!!

The only thing worse than a man who has nothing but SEX on his mind..... is one who is ALSO driving a 80k lb rig!

You might want to read the thread on Women and Cowboys, Bel! The only Cowboy who gets home EVERY night, is the "local" one who shovels out the barn!

Unlike most men, who think they need it every night, women often need time to MISS us and fantacize about our homecomings! It's in nearly ALL of their romance novels!

Haven't you ever watched any classic Western movies? How many times have you seen the fair maiden making a DAILY entry into her diary that says, "Well, he came home again tonight and we DID it." :?: :?:

JUST doesn't happen.... does it?

Surely you've heard that.... "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" and the richest man on Earth doesn't eat steak EVERY night, JUST because he can!

While I'm SURE that you might be able to sell that line to a 19 year old just out of High School, MATURE women have different needs and ideals. And, let's face it.... "local wusses" just don't have enough to offer them!

Let's just compare 'experiences' lately. "I" can talk about seeing the Grand Canyon, while YOU can show her a picture of the latest gift left for you in the "89 octane pit!"

I don't know about REB, and what SHE wants, but I can't see this as a real competition for dinner table conversation!

I can just SEE some lady handing you your "bag lunch" every morning, and saying..... "Be careful out there, Hon.... Don't grab any turds!"

You know.... IIRC..... Ralph Cramden had a "day job." And didn't THEY have an exciting romantic "honeymoon!"

Hobo does have a good point. I watch Westerns all the time and that is usually what happens. I enjoy them Westerns for the horseriding six shooter shootouts. The movies that are made today can't compare to a John Wayne or Gene Autry film. 8)

Hey there Nomad! Good to see you again! Nice to know you still check in on us, and especially on ME!

No, I DON'T actually own that domain! I wish I DID! It IS for sale, but i'm not rich! IT SHOULD have been mine from the start! I'm SURE I "coined" that phrase or login LONG before someone ELSE came up with it! I was using that name before "domain grabbing" became a craze!

I just typed it into my post as a JOKE!!

When I went back to check it, I saw it was a "blue" LINK! So..... "I" went there to see what was up! Lo and Behold!

But, it DOES kinda fit my persona! I wonder what "I" am worth??

The fact that there IS NO "active" website at that domain, PROVES that I am the one and ONLY "GolfHobo!"

Thanks for the chuckle, Nomad! And PLEASE don't ever change your avatar! It is my inspiration! [something Local "wusses" will NEVER understand!]
