    I'm just witing for confirmation, but I think I'm heading to Nelson today, load lumber in the morning then head to Dawson Creek for a switch. Course I have no idea what time my switch would be leaving edm, but when would you be going through dawson and when do you sleep? Maybe we could end up running up together?

    Nevermind, scratch that plan. They are too short drivers.

    Lady, am bound for Nelson tonight...eta 2pm tomorrow. If you are headed that direction call me. Have to do my switch at the Blue Bell cause Holmes isn't licensed for BC, so he won't come to the 5th wheel. So now I gotta cross the scale twice!

    They are almost always closed lately. Ive only seen them open one morning and they were only there for 4 hours.

    Didn't go out today, Kenworth is holding my truck hostage. MAN those guys are useless up here! If they can't look at it in the morning I'm just gonna friggin limp it to FSJ.

    Good lord....what a week! Yellowknife on Monday, Fort St John on Wed...I'm not even sure WHERE I'm supposed to be right now! All I know is I just made it home...don't care if I even LOOK at my truck for the rest of the week...babysitting on Saturday cause daughter has a big photo shoot & my granddaughter called me today & told me I'd better make it cause she hadn't seen me for "like 100 years!!" <ouch!> It's been nearly a month...DAMN! I need more hours in the day & just a couple more days in the week!

    Got a build date for that DAMNED shop now too! The guy is coming with the cat next Friday & they are coming to build on the 28th...

    Can somebody PLEASE stop the world so I can get off for just a few minutes????

    Seriously though, enjoy the babysitting, and think about how much easier it will be AFTER the shop is built. You know you'd be bored out of your mind if you had NOTHING to do.

    Ain't that the truth! I could just do with just a teeny bit LESS busy right now! I'm 6 months behind on my books cause my damned accounting program decided it has a difficulty with some damned thing (I haven't figured out what yet) so it's doubling my income every month (god I wish), for some unknown reason (even to the programmers) it's picking up income from previous months & putting it into the next month...damned if I know how or why, so I'm trying to design something new, BUT I'm afraid my programming skills are so rusty that they are almost non-exhistant anymore. So I am spending so much time researching what I want to do, it seems like I'm getting absolutely NOTHING done at all except obtaining SQUARE eyes from staring at either a book or the computer screen! Jeez no wonder the last time I got my eyes tested they said I needed BIFOCALS!!! I'm too damned YOUNG for freakin BIFOCALS!!!!! :shock: :shock: :shock:

    Nope I've been totally stuck in Fort Nelson lately. Hoping for something different soon.

    Thats the Canfor Mill (Tackama) in Fort Nelson. In behind gasoline alley there.
