Experiences with Male Trainers/Finishers

This may be getting pretty deep into this subject, but it would be nice to know about the experiences you ladies had with your male trainers/finishers. Such as things like: did you change your clothes in the truck? When it was time to sleep what kind of clothing did you wear? I guess what I am asking is how much privacy do you get so you can change your clothes and things like that?

I'm going to assume you're a female by how this is worded. So I'll try to answer.

I slept in my clothes, changed at TS or Rest areas.
There really isn't any privacy in a truck, no room for it. You're always within a few feet of each other.

Like anything else in life, it goes by faster than you think and it's just something you have to suck it up and do.

BTW 20 years in the Corp, I don't think you'll have a problem! :wink:

Yep, I am female. Also just celebrated my 28th wedding anniversary. Sorry for not putting that in my earlier post. Kind of hard to tell from my handle. I figure there is a better chance of getting a male trainer than female and I am interested in how the women have managed the situation. Thank you, RebelDarlin, for sharing this with me.

MT, I think you should not have too much trouble, many companies have strict policies about male/female, trainer/trainee stuff. And personally,no offense intended, I can't think of any trainer who would be willing to jepardize their job &/or reputation over any student. In my experience, I was a trainer who had many male students, I spelled out the rules, in plain English, so even a total dolt could understand them, & I never had any problems at all. Good luck!

Umm, yeah, but you're talking about men. I know from experience that when an attractive (read: breathing) lady is around, 'dolt' is being a generous term for some of us.

marinetrucker ... I've driven with 4 males (2 were friends/2 were Finishers)..... I never had any trouble with them. When I met them the first thing what we did was take a couple of hours to get to know the basic part of Who each other was. ... I asked them how they dealt with Privacy of females on their truck? ... If I wasn't comfortable with thier ideas - - I kindly let them know what I expected ... and this is how it went - - - when I needed to change clothes, the curtain was to be pulled and zipped up ... (you may only have 1 ft. of room to move around while changing), and I slept in jogging shorts and a regular T-shirt ... While on their truck I kept all sexy clothes at home and dressed only respectful - - which included NO low cut tops and NO hot pants ... Lets face it, we're all human ... I know how it affects me when a man with a nice chest wearing an open shirt affects me ... well, it's best to keep it completely business attire. :wink: .......... The whole time I was with the male drivers ... they treated me like a professional driver and I treated them the same. ...

There's always going to be a few bad trainers out there - and if you come across one ... do call the office and talk to the Trainers Sup. about getting another trainer. It's Your future and Your life. Good luck and keep us updated on your progress.

I sort of had 2 trainer the first one drove me to florida. He only let me drive a short while. When we got there he turned the truck over to me and i had to drive it home all by myself . Then he told take this interstatehdasjghesjfgasjfjkfhjfhfghegfjh 15 fjdfhbaskbfkjasefbkajsdfb
I didnt know how to get home to utah he didnt have a map. So I had to call My old boyfriend to get me home. I didnt even know how to find truck stop. His radio didnt work well. I laugh now about it. My second trainer was a male he was married. He started to flirt in the begining but i set him straight.
The hardest part was he like to eat cloves of garlic. You could cut the air. The Longest three weeks of my life. He was annoying too. He he lol
