I read what Hobo said, and did not find anything wrong with it.. :?:
On the edge of sleep, I heard voices behind the door
The known and the nameless, familiar and faceless
My angels and my demons at war'

    At war...

'Which one will lose depends on what I choose
Or maybe which voice I ignore...'

    Wilderness of mirrors
    Streets of cold desire
    My precious sense of honor
Just a shield of rusty wire
    I hold against the chaos
And the cross of holy fire

    Wilderness of mirrors
    So easy to deceive
    My precious sense of rightness
    Is sometimes so naive
    So that which I imagine
    Is that which I believe

Thanks Hog for trying to lighten this up, It's not heavy tho. I understand our frienship is in its begining phases and I'm sorry that I stepped on your toes in regard to your friend Hobo. I think Hobo understands why I found offence to the nature of his coments. Others might not understand, but Hobo does. In hind sight I should have P.M.ed him and nobody else would've got involved. But well Hobo, enjoys conterversy, argueing, and I was tired at the time... So I posted my thoughts. I was raised by a chauvinist father whom I love to this day. But I was also raised to protect my sisters from chauvinists... Times were changeing. And well, Hobo is the last guy on this board that I thought would miss the "context" of this thread... I said, "anywhere else on this board fair game"... Or other posters... But, apperently I held Hobo to a higher standard... I don't think he wants me to appoligize for that. In my opinion the older girls had to fight there way to where they are now, and the ones who have followed in there footsteps... should have a great apreciation for that, a respect for them, as I have. Now lighten already

Hobo: I did see your comment ... BUT I spend my whole week on the road working. Up in the NORTH...WAY north there is no place to check internet stuff & only post &/or read when I am at home, so it usually takes me a few days to catch up, as I have a family, home, etc.

I took no offense to your comments, but was rather suprised at the comments that followed. I often deal with men & women who can't deal with the fact that I drive a truck, & especially since I OWN my truck it's even worse. Often when I arrive I get asked where is your partner? My granddaugther gave me a LONG legged teddy bear for company, so I go get it & introduce him as my *partner*! It's usually good for a laugh!

Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning the devil says "oh crap, she's up!"
