I just read that there are a couple of state legislators in Ohio who are proposing a bill that would require any permit holder to get the written permission of any business or property owner before they could legally carry a gun. This essentially kills any carry permit. Those who live in Ohio need to check into this and voice your concerns right before you kick the idiots out of office.

I carry around my hometown, had guns all my life, but it's not worth fines, courts, etc.... I don't feel safe in certain areas, but suggest carrying other means of protection, "MACE" is a good one, at least it will allow you enough time to get away and run for help or safety.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Hair spray can also work when sprayed in the eyes. The communists seem to be winning. You could get a carry permit and it should be good in most states, but there are a few that could be a problem, such as New York, Massachusetts, etc., If you pack it properly, you should not have a problem in most states.

First of all people should really quit listening to the cb lawyers and learn the laws

I know the laws and there is not a law on the book about you cant carry a firearm in a CMV
the law is state to state law
If you carry a CCW permit you can carry a firearm in a CMV
as long as you are in a state that has recprocity with the state you live in
and you obey their CCW laws
company tell drivers no firearms because as employee it make the company countable for its employee

so pick up and book and turn down the cb and learn something other then being a steering wheel holder for a company that dont care about your safty

"The communists seem to be winning". Gman I'm almost speechless. Whatever it is that you've started watching on the tube or started listening to on the radio the last few years you need to try something different. I say this as someone that has substantial respect for you, I frequently disagreed with the old Gman but I miss him. The newer incarnation troubles me with how he distances himself from reality.

There are no commies.

There is no boogie man hiding under your bed waiting for you to fall asleep.

If it makes you feel better, I could use socialists instead of communists. I and others have used communists to describe states with anti gun laws, such as New York, Massachusetts, etc., for years. I don't see a communist under every rock, but they are around. In fact, there have been communists in the USA since the early part of the 20th century, at least. They helped the unions organize Ford Motor Company. So, they have been with us for a very long time.

I am very frustrated by what I see happening to this country. I may be a little vocal about my concerns. I am sorry if that concerns you. You could put another label on it, if you wish. There are some good people in this country. Can you think of a better label for some of these people? I would like to believe that there are more good people than bad. Some may just be misguided. I can see how far awry things have gotten when people such as Jamie Fox, an actor, gets on stage and calls Obama his "lord and savior." I may still have that link, if you care to check it out.

One thing that is critical to a free nation is free speech. There is a representative in Georgia along with Nancy Pelosi, who would like to limit or control free speech. That is the way communists operate. They try to control what people can or cannot say. The thing that makes America great are our freedoms that are guaranteed in our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Those rights are being threatened. We can agree or disagree. That is also a freedom we can currently enjoy. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing. I think that having a robust discussion can foster new ideas and is one major thing that keeps this country free. There are more people with whom I talk with that are also beginning to speak out about these people who would change this country into something unrecognizable. I am not afraid of a boogie man hiding under my bed. But, there are some who call themselves politicians and representatives of the people. And, they are much worse than anything that would be hiding under the bed.

My uncle who's been driving all his life, use to keep a gun with him in his truck but when he switched to a new company they told him that it was against their rules. They called it a liability which I can understand, you don't want to held responsible for one of your drivers getting upset a popping a cap in someone. Also, if someone else got a hold of the gun its equally as dangerous. He now carries a large knife under his seat (he's a solo driver) and just doesn't tell the company. While I would like to carry a gun when I start driving, I understand why some companies are against it and that there are alternatives such as knives and pepper spray. I'm already a knife nut and have plenty to stash around a vehicle.

I carried for a long time. I have a ccw and would have military instillations hold it when I went into bases.

Well, I might not agree with Communists taking over, but I would Facists. They are both Socialists, but go at it in different ways. Communism demands total state ownership and control. Facists have no problem with private ownership, but they want to control how it is done. That more describes the approach we are taking. Nothing like having all those military folks who died in WW II to protect us from Facism just being a waste. We could have just spared their lives and sided with Mussolini and stayed neutral in the war. Those vets, along with those of us who did the Korea, Vietnam, Cold War thing, were just wasting our time. My 7 years doing it was a total waste. We were defending something that the majority of the country did not want. Yes, majority. The 50% who do not vote at all, along with the 50% of those who do vote for socialism. That is 75% of the country. We in the 25% were just being played for fools.
