Well, he doesn't sound "unrealistic" to me. Maybe to you, he seems like he's full of himself, but that's your problem, not his. There are all types out here, a few of this, a few of that, and a lot of the other, but all types just the same. It's no secret a "couple" that can tolerate each other and can pool incomes can retire to Mexico in 3 years with the right carrier and I wish him the best. But it's been my experience that a good "fit" like he's talking about are far and few between, regardless of your credentials.

My take on this is if my health problems disqualify me from team driving with my husband (as in, there is NO way I could get a CDL due to multiple health reasons), there is no way I would even think about team driving with a total stranger which could be setting me up for some serious problems.

I think this was orginally about another available driver, A Mr. Teddy Mac Bear. You might want to start your own thread so I can happily spread the word of your earnest desire for a personal and professional partnership, Mr. Excitement.
