Michigan has this program thru Michworks and if you are unemployed and (if married) your spourse makes less then $40,000 you are eligble for Fully paid truck driver training....Check your local michworks and register for orientation....

yes you can ..just go there and tell them that you want to set up appointment for orientation for no worker left behind...you will have to register for michworks where you create a resume and you get a stamped card that says ur registered which is required to get in orientation..pretty simple ...GL

Check out your unemployment office and ask if they have a Work Force program. These programs assist people in obtaing grants for traing in a new field of employment.

i went through this program. they paid for my training 100%. it took a while to get through the program with the oriantation and stupid stuff to do, about 3 months worth of waiting, but it was well worth it.

I am starting school this Friday in Appleton WI. all the bills were pre paid by the WI. job service. It sure beets signing a contract with a trucking company!
