Default Truck School VS Company Training

Who is more likely to pass you on driving tests??? The real DMV or
company instructors with DMV rights??? Would you go to private schools who prepare for DMV. OR would you go to a big company like Central Refridgerated. I just want my CDL i have heard DMV is hell to pass vs
like a Swift program.

Default Re: Truck School VS Company Training

Trucking School is the way the go.

Most will let you retest as many times as needed until you pass the exam and get your Class-A (the average person only needs 1 or 2 tries to get it right), some companies will drop you flat on your face if you don't pass the exam, or if they think you don't have "the right stuff."

Plus, with company training after the training is over, you'll become a slave to that company because of the legal document you sign with them... driving for them for a year to pay back for the company training. With trucking school you have a multitude of companies to pick from.

Default tng school vs dmv

Go training school NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY COMPANY

Do your home work on training schools before you sign up. check with local trucking companies for school recommendations. They know who is good and bad. Look for accrediations (sp)

If you go DMV route, where are you going to get a "rig" to take the test with?
