    Default Watkins/Shepard School

    In am trying to find out some information on the Watkins/Shepard truck driving school that they have in Missoula, MT from anyone that has attended it.

    Haven't been there, but when you get your license, hire on with CFI. You won't regret it.

    I live in Oregon and CFI doesn't hire out of Oregon. Thanks for the information.

    Didn't go to school there, but drove for them for awhile....pretty good company. The drivers treated each other like family.

    Does anyone know if the school in Missoula, MT that W/S has, is it run by them or by Sage Tech in Missoula?

    Can't really answer your question. I only attended their 10-day orientation there. Just started driving for them 2 weeks ago. All I know they do all their training at the Missoula terminal. Good luck.

    How are the housing accomodations at the Missoula terminal for the students. Also, do you think that the students after four weeks are trained well enough to go out solo in the dry van regional area.

    They have a drivers lounge with a full kitchen and the rooms are (I believe) 2 man rooms. There are showers directly across the hall. The instructors will have you running mountains most of the time you are training and yes, with them after a month you are ready to go. They won't let you take the test over and over like some.
