Do you want us to lie to you ( like you have to us ) ? Do you want BAD advice??? I teach part-time at a CDL school. The FIRST thing you see when you enter the building is a sign. It says: IF YOU CAN'T PASS A DRUG SCREEN THEN LEAVE NOW AND DON'T WASTE MY TIME.

Hey, fake jake...How are you going to write comments calling guys idiots!!! and then write a post asking people to please be positive and not negative. It looks like you've been trying to get a CDL job forever now and you just dont see the light man.
Yep! You ask to hear only the positive. I can promise you that on this site you will hear the TRUTH. It may not be what you want to hear but it is better than you going out and wasting your time and your money for something you will never be able to do.

Stopped drivng OTR on 9/8/08 ...had a craving to smoke some chilli with friends on the 22nd and did so then went and took a drug test on the 24th...passed no problem ...this 30-45 day clean out time is for POT HEADS ,which are the equivilant to drunken bums for Alchohol ,because it takes weekly use to build up a blood plasma concentraion high enough to show on blood/urine tests...or any test used for pre-employment drug screen, So if you're getting popped you are not smoking just once in awhile...wink

He would test stupid for not making sure the load was legal weight wise, but then again some loads are just considered...paying the toll...and are supposed to be intercepted .

    Default Driving school

That is too bad that you couldn't somehow get the misdemeanor M.J. charge off your record. The best school is Schneider, but I was told that they stopped it for now as the economy is slowing to a crawl.

If you do get in one, don't get into one that makes you sign your life away just to drive for them. You obviously have access to the internet so Google "No experience trucking jobs". I just talked to some guy the other day who did just that and ended up with Star Transportation.

I did hear about one in Michigan City IN to stay away from and Pam Transport is not where you want to be either. My friend's kid ended up going to a place that said they would get him 2500 miles per week, but didn't so he quit. Then they sued him. He called the company for the kid and said he had a copy of the contract right in front of him and their bullying tactics would not work and that if they didn't back off, they were in for a lawsuit.

READ THE SMALL PRINT. Keep copies of any contract. Don't sign anything you don't feel good about.

    Good luck.
