    Default Unemployed and Financial Assistance

    Hey there folks...

    Quick question.....

Recently lost my job with a company I have been with for 11 years...

Whats the best place where I can determine if I am elligble to obtain "retrain-assistance" from my state, Arizona, or perhaps Federal assistance...money that I can apply to going to CDL school??

I have searched the net and I am not finding much info.

    Thanks...

I am not sure how it works in AZ. Here in WA I had to be eligible for unemployment benefits and the former employment had to be in a field that is not in demand. Once that was established I filled out alot of paperwork and waited for approval.

It looks like you have to make an appt with your local job service provider to find out if you'll be eligible for retraining.

The link above lists them by location.

Good luck to you, and don't get discouraged.

    Cheers,
