Anybody know about radioactive radios?
 

I'm sure that this question has been asked before, but Its really hard to weed through the bs now and then. I'm looking for some real people with honest opinions, and real advice good,or bad. I'm sure I'm not the only person whos seen/ heard the hype and want to know if its for real or just a scam. I have gone out on a limb and bought one myself, but if it ends up being a turd I'll be sure to share that info with everyone else, but again, looking to help my fellow driver to either go with , or stay away from this company. I don't like taking a risk with a ton of cash, and these days who can afford to. Thanks all for your thoughts

I guess no one knows what I'm talking about, sad though, I would have liked some imput from some people who have had some experience with the question that I asked.

RadioActive is a company that builds radios, the radios are not radioactive.

Yeah, its an online shop. There is so much pros and cons stuff going on that I really wanted some folks to give me the real low down on their work. Like I said though, I already ordered one, and if it sucks, I will be more than happy to let anybody interested to know about it know. Just wanted to see if anyone had heard of them.

Bulldog, I myself have been debating on a radioactive radio. I know 1 person that says he had one and that it was the real deal but like u I have heard things not knowing what the truth is. When u get yours will u please post and let me know what u think about it.

ABSOLUTELY!!! Right now I can tell you that they are either real busy or don't care, but it took about 2 weeks for the coax I ordered to arive. I also ordered an antenna at the same time, and haven't heard anything about it. I ordered both on Oct.28, and recieved the coax on Nov. 11th. In their defense though, they did tell me that the antenna I ordered was hand built, and not something that they carry in stock. I also ordered the Connex 4300-300 on Nov.3rd (won't tell you how much it was, but it was ******ed). I was told at the time that I ordered it, it could take 4 weeks or more to get it. I'm not a person who has alot of time, but if its as good as they claim, I'll be happy to wait. Drop in from time to time to let me know that people are interested, and I will be more than happy to comment with info whenever asked, and with as much detail as you would like.

no, I haven't got mine yet, but it shipped on Dec.1st . I will be very interested to see how this will play out. I'm hoping that it is as great as they say. I will be very happy to let all know how it works for me.

What did you get & if I may ask, what did it cost?

I've had 4 radios in 3 trucks in the past 2 years & never had one that worked worth a d---mn. I'm almost ready to pay whatever to whoever to make something work, I just don't know who I can trust.
