    Default ANTI SAIL MUDFLAP WEIGHTS

    ANYONE HAVE ANY LUCK WITH RUBBER FLAPS NOT GETTING SUCKED UP INTO THE TIRES AND DESTROYING THOSE NICE CHROME WEIGHTS U JUST PUT ON? THINKING BOUT SWITCHING TO POLY FLAPS
    LOW CLEARANCE BRIDGE MEANS NOTHIN TO A FLATBED

    Here is what I did with mine....Have the chrome weights on the bottem and added the chrome "anti sails" to keep them stiff. Mine are poly flaps, but the anti sails will work on the rubber.
    I only put the flaps together like that for appearance, as I did not like the flaps that were on the truck. Just did it to dress it up.

    LOOKS GOOD DID U HAVE TO TRIM THE FLAPS. I GOT SOME POLYS THERE LIKE LOWRIDIN' WOULDNT WANNA SNAG THEM UP ON MY FIRST RIDE OUT. I GOT NEW WEIGHTS LIKE URS AND I GOT THE STAINLESS WEIGHTS THAT HAVE TWO MOUNT HOLES AND GO ON THE TOP OF THE FLAP AND HANG DOWN THE MIDDLE. LOOKS REAL NICE. BUT LIKE I SAID THE FLAPS ARE PRETTY DAMN LOW. EVERYONE AT MY JOB ISLIKE DAMN UR TRUCK LOOKS NICE WHY U WASTING UR OWN MONEY ON A COMPANY TRUCK. HMMMM CUZ IM IN IT ALL DAY AND DONT WANNA DRIVE A DIRTY HEAP OF **** AROUND LIKE U GUYS

    Yes...I had to trim the flaps.
    Before I started slicing them up. I mounted the weights on the bottom first. Then layed the anti-sails on the flaps, so the flags were centered. Then layed the top chrome trim and conspicuous reflectors on the top of the anti sails. Then cut the TOP of the flap. This will remove the flaps bolts holes. Just "poke" new ones.
    If you trim from the bottom of the flap the imprinted design will not be centered in the anti-sails.
