    Default Blue Parrot Head Sets

    Hey All..

Anybody thinking of getting Bluetooth should consider the Blue Parrot..wireless headsets.

I like them becuase unlike reular bluetooth the buttons are larger and easier to work with , the unit stays securely on your head.

They are the only Blue tooth type device speciffically designed for truckers..they have a noise cancelling feature that blocks out most of the engine noise.

You will get about 4-6 hours of talk time from a full charge.

They are made in the United States and are of pretty decent quality.

The unit will cost you between $95-118 depending on where you go.

    Worth every dime.

I teamed with a guy who had one, and it was fantastic. The only caveat is that you can't just pull it off when the "charged" light came on, because they tend to say that they are fully charged before ithey actually are- he did that at first and it would die pretty quickly.
He went to take it back, but did not have the box/receipt, so the guy at the kiosk told him to LEAVE IT PLUGGED IN as long as possible - like while he was sleeping. It lasted a long time per charge after that.

I have the Bluetooth and I think it works great. I forget I've even got it on at times. No problems with it dying on me and it's handsfree. I can hear everyone and activating it is so easy. Drive safe everyone.

    Default B-150

I have the B-150 that was repackaged for trucking. As mentioned if you don't leave it on the charger most of the time it will die quickly. The charge doesn't last long enough for me and the company gets back 75% of what it sells for battery issues.
The upside is that it sounds great on both ends. My FM tells me to talk softly of I will blow his ear drums out. That's while I'm driving down the road. My wife says that she can still hear the road noise while I'm talking but seconds after I quit talking she has to ask me if I'm still there because it cancells all noise.

You are a rumor, recognizable only as deja vu, and dismissed just as quickly. You don't exist. You were never even born. Anonymity is your name, silence is your native tongue.
