I use only Serengeti sunnies. Photochromic, polarized lenses are fantastic for high glare situations. I've found when I'm really tired and my eyes feel as if I've got sand in them, half an hour with them on and the "sand" is gone.
A pilot I know said they (Serengeti) were the only brand allowed whilst driving a plane due to the ability of the lens to allow you to look at the horizon then at your instruments without your eyes having to readjust for the light......... I was skeptical at first but after owning mine a couple of years now I wouldn't be without them. More expensive than your $11.95 truckstop specials but my eyes are worth it.
