Right now Im doing really well, but working hard and trying to stay busy. Recruiting usualy dries up quite a bit around late oct through dec, seems people dont want to change jobs before the new year. So im trying to earn as much as I can now, then possibly take a long vacation during the slow times.

awwww.....where did this guy go? I wanted to play with his small little mind. I wonder if he will answer this question. Most trucking companies will pay drivers commissions for finding the company other drivers. Are those drivers "middle men, ripping off the system" too?

Most trucking companies will use recruiters to fill the seat.... As long as the payment is agree upon, how is he ripping the system?
He does his job, and gets paid. Same as all of the rest of us.

Now, if you got something useful to say, by all means, we are all ears.......
Deja moo. It's when you feel you have heard this BS before.

Absolutely...if you are still looking, I can sure use some drivers with their own authority over at Interstate Dist.

that sort of thing dosnt happen here ,we have more loyality and you wont find many companies that poach other companies drivers .

why pay a recruiter when all it costs is a advert and you can get your own drivers and check thier cvs yourself ,as you are going to anyway

    Also..look at this:
Cost to run a small want ad for one day in a major city..Say Dallas. 500 dollars for just sunday. Multiply that by 5 major cities: =2500 bucks. Expand that for the month= $10000 dollars a month for just an ad in 5 cities thats only in the Sunday paper.

Or the company can pay me $1000 bucks a driver, I will do all the advertising, and I WILL find them all the drivers they need. Which is the smarter choice for the company?

You sure about that? How about giving me a list of all your company drivers names and phone numbers, lets see how loyal they are. I can almost assure you, I could "poach" at least a few of them.

  10. This ad will disappear if you login
