Actually we are still seeking Owner Operators, regardless of the size of the vehicle they operate. These Owner Operators may own and operate 3/4 ton to 1 ton cargo vans, straight trucks, and/or semi-tractors. Are pictures of these vehicles needed for clarification?

We also have a few small fleet owners leased onto our company that are adding some straight trucks and/or tractors to their fleets. These small fleet owners are seeking drivers that have at least 1 to 2 years of commercial driving experience.

Thank you for taking the time to view this post.

Ok, Gman, are you thinking this isnt legit?

Ok, OP, if this is legit. Let me throw something at you. Ive been recruiting for over 8 years now. Currently Im an independent recruiter for about 20 companies. Although I only deal with big rigs, I do get calls all the time from straight truck and cargo van drivers. My question to you, is what are these drivers worth to you? In other words, how much are you willing to pay me to point those drivers in the your direction? Make it worth my while, and I can get you all the owner ops you want.

I don't know anything about them. I can't believe that they would only pay $1.32/mile including fsc for a big truck and you need to give them the first 50 miles deadhead. There used to be a Premium out of Atlanta (Forest Park), but apparently this is a different company. According to the fmcsa website they are based out of Ohio.

I think that sheepdancer was talking to the original poster who is looking for owner operators. Sheepdancer is an independent recruiter who used to work for JB Hunt.

Exactly.....Seriously, I get at least one or two straight truck owner ops that call me every day. I dont have any place to send them. I was simply asking the OP what are those drivers worth to him.

I agree, the 1.32 sucks. But 1.20 plus FS for straight trucks seems like it would be an easy recruit...lol

Since that $1.20 + FSC is only on loaded miles for the straight truck....that rate sucks buttermilk worse than the $1.32 on all miles.

Opie said: Expedite straight trucks pay at $1.20 per loaded miles, plus FSC
