Default Come to Alaska! Need my new 5th wheel transported from MI!

We will be purchasing an RV from Michigan within days and will need it hauled up to either the Homer or Whittier Ferry Terminals in Alaska. Prefer to have it hauled up ASAP or during the month of May when the Ferrys are less crowded.

:? Would also like an honest opinion if we should shrinkwrap the RV. Dealer says no...many others say yes. We have driven the ALCAN before with our previous RV..and yes..it was NASTY when we finally made it to Homer!

Dealers shipper is quoting us $5K for the shipment - can you beat that?

RV is approx 35' x 14' x 8' ....weight up to 11K. (finalizing which model we are getting).

I tried using UBID but I"m nervous of using those without licenses or insurance.
