Default 98 pete 379 too high

no clue where else to look. the truck has been to peterbilt and we cant get this under control. my dad has a 98 379, airtrac suspension, low pro 24.5 tires. the trailer is mesuring 13'8" the truck came from the factory with the tires, and it has a low pro 5th wheel. no idea where else to turn. help! i was told lowering the adjustment on the rod will blow the rear ends. no clue what to do.

Is the trailer a high cube van? If it is then he may not be able to get the hight down lower than 13'8".

What's the 5th wheel height? Has the air suspension ride height been adjusted properly?

We have a 379 with a airtrac suspension with 24.5's and it seems to sit just a tad bit higher than any of the other trucks. It's not normally a problem being we don't pull vans. If we do hook it to van and the driver remembers he just lowers the ride height.
