    Default Power Steering Pump Job

How Much should it cost in labor to replace the power stearing pump in a Freightliner Columbia 2005?

Those are not very difficult to install. I believe it takes about 2-4 hours labor. I had to put one on one of my trucks a couple of years ago and I believe that is what they called for when they quoted me a rate at the dealer. It wasn't a Freightliner, but I would not think that it would be much different in the time. You could call the service department at a dealer and they could give you the book rate. Then find a mechanic who will do it for less.

Yeah, maybe you could find one who works for "CPB"

If you can't shift it smoothly, you shouldn't be driving it.

It would depend on your engine as well; where the pump is mounted to it...
