    Default ac air filter on kenworth

    does anyone know where the a/c cab filter is on a 2005 w900l kenworth?

    it doesnt come with one, you can buy one at a chrome shop it's about 40 bucks the first time because you need the whole thing, after that, replacement filters are about 12 bucks, on the right of your truck behind the air cleaner there is a square that has a bunch of holes in it, this is your a/c intake, the kit has a filter and a chrome cover to hold it in, you use the screws that come with it and just screw them into the holes, entire process takes about 5 minutes, it is well worth it.

    Thanks fredog i guess thats why i cant find it. Im going to look into the chrome filter.

    I got it at Graybills chrome shop at exit 110 I-29 in Missouri, I think some of the bigger Petros and Bosselmans have them, get one, you will wonder why you didnt do it sooner, it makes a tremendous difference

    Thanks fredog i just went to kenworth and bought one for 37.00.They had a load of those filters.I have another question for you how do you clean the inside of glass on bottom of p/s door?I was told if i take out inside glass it will not go back in.but it is anoying not being able to clean it.

    just do the best you can, the glass will push out easily, but you will need a mechanic to put it back in, when I drove a company truck they told us if you got locked out, push the glass out, open the door then tape it up and let the shop put it back in, I watched once and it took about an hour to put it back in
