sounds like injector cup seals in the head. also you can get antifreeze in the fuel that way also.

Bad injector o-rings. I had the same problem recently and had to replace all my injectors. $2500.00 job. Mine was a 3126B Cat.

Also, check for coolant in the oil pan, and oil in the coolant. You could have both. But oil, coolant, and fuel all seem to have a way of mingling at the injectors.

you didnt need new injectors...these can last indefinately in the 3126...there is ni maint. replacement miles.

these injecorts have a seal on top that gets over 5000 psi going thru...can be replaced w/injector installed..dont need to pull them

Im not trying to downplay the shops advicce..but I worked with the engineers with the development of this engine..and needing 6 injectors at one time is nearly impossible !

...the injector body can leak as well as the seals, so yes sometimes it is the injector that causes oil in the fuel.

Those engineers should have told you that the maximum rail pressure on a HEUI system is 3,500psi not 5,000.

6 failed injectors at once IS nearly impossible... but, how would you go about isolating that ONE bad injector??
