Default Antifreeze ELC Rotella or Cat

I presently used Rotella 50/50 ELC antifreeze,it is fairly hard to find here where I lived, I am about to have radiator rodded out was thinking about replacing it with Cat 50/50 ELC. Anyone have any pros or cons on that. I have a Det. engine and it recommend the Rotella 50/50.

    Thx in Advanced,

    Vontrial

Only thing I can tell you is the Cat ELC anti freeze (red) is made by Texaco.

Detroit diesel markets their own fully-formulated, pre-mixed, elc coolant... I would use that in a Detroit.

    What year is the detroit?

I think it was 2006 and later, they require a very specialized ELC. Nitrite free ELC.
