Default Tachometer trouble with Detroit S60

Guys, recently the tach in my FLD120 has started actin up. When I first start the truck the tach works fine, but after a while (15min or so) I'll look down and the tach is not working. Turning the truck off and back on doesn't seem to correct the issue. If the truck sits overnight (haven't tried it a time length shorter than that) or a few days it works again for a while and then again stops working. Any ideas?

Engine Speed Sensor is acting up. Remove replace and will be fine.
