Default Michelin introduces new drive tire, increases life 30%

    http://fleetowner.com/news/michelin_new_drive_tire/

Costs 5-10% more and is expected to last 30% more.

Too bad it increases rolling resistance so much, it's not economically worth it.

Higher rolling resistance then even the XDN2 and even the XDAHT.

    according to:

    Annual Fuel Bill: $60,000.00

    Michelin Advantage: 4.8%

    Annual Cost Savings: $2,906.23

    Annual Savings per Tire: $207.59
LOL, according to michelin, you'll spend $2900 extra per year in fuel to push these tires around!

    Compared to XDA energies.

$1000 more per year compared to XDN2's, the XDN2's aren't exactly a friendly tread.

No problem! Here is a couple more, if you are interested..

As you can see, from this chart, anything over 1600 RPM, is just waist of fuel.

    And summary...
