They're all good when they're running, and when they're broke down none of them are worth a crap.
That said, my opinion is that Mack is the best.
(Even though I'm working on Internationals nowadays)
If you can't shift it smoothly, you shouldn't be driving it.
1) Peterbilt
2) Freightliner
3) International
4) Volvo (I have had a run of bad luck with them)
I used to drive a Volvo 770, and I broke it. I used to drive a Volvo 780 and I broke it. I now drive a Peterbilt 379 and am trying not to break it
what engine do you think is the best and most reliable
cummins
cat
detroit
Everyone has their own opinions on this... I only own CATs and only Petes (359 or 379) or KWs (W900), PERIOD
I wouldn't take a free Freightliner, Volvo or anything with a Detroit... would leave trucking if that was my only option.
Then again, some people love green motors and plastic trucks... to each their own.
$$$$ NOT miles
Other people just like saving ~10k in fuel over the c15/w900 combo.
