    i have heard this... never seen it on paper, so yes i'd love to see it

    i don't remember a time when H/D diesels used flat tappets

    Sorry guys! I have been on the road...........Bob H, your link contains info. similar as to which I had read. I have not located the article I had read. It was in one of my drag racing publications.
    They did talk about the possibility of using diesel oils in gas race engine.
