    Default Maintenance Schedule

Hey everyone, I just bought a 1985 FLC 120 daycab to start my business with (Log Hauler), and it has a 15 speed overdrive, 350 Cummins, big cam, and here is my question.

I have been a company driver for the past 8 years, and very spoiled in the fact that all maintenance was performed by the company on a regular scheduled basis, so therefore I was very lazy in learning how to perform the basic maintenance on a truck.

Is there anywhere on the website to find items such as:

Setting up a maintenance schedule by:

    A. Mileage
    B. Monthly
    C. Weekly
    D. Daily

And how to do a cost per mile on everything associated with this and other items involving this?

    Thank You So Much.

As a log hauler myself we do ours weekly. Banging in and out of the woods you wouldn't want to do it monthly.
Don't trust anybody. Especially that guy in the mirror.

Well, you should give it a good look over once a day.
I would grease the chassis once a week.
I would do a full PM (oil and filter changes with coolant test) every 10,000 miles. Or let your oil samples tell you where you need to be.
